Our Process
Pancho's Blanket creates handmade Mexican garments and blankets using old foot pedal looms that are over 100 years old. These foot pedal looms are used by very few artisans today. It is a dying art that we are passionate in keeping alive. For every purchase, Pancho's Blanket provides food and clothing to impoverished communities in Mexico through our nonprofit Feed A Family.

I lovvvee this blanket! First, it's gorgeous. The pic makes it look a bit more sandy but in person it's got a bit of a pinkish undertone that is well, similar to a sunset. Second, it is a high quality blanket. I can see real skill went into making this and I feel confident the blanket will last me many years. Lastly, it's a practical blanket. It keeps me warm on chilly nights I'm cozied up with a book on the couch. Thank you for making so much a pretty and functional product!
I absolutely love the Heritage dress, it has everything I love from the Heritage shirt.. the fabric feels like butter on your skin, the dress is is feminine , fun and sexy. It was finally cold enough to wear my new Pancho’s Blanket Boho Azteca jacket, so I wore it to dinner on New Year’s Eve with my in-laws. As we were leaving the restaurant, a gentleman stopped us because he noticed the coat hanging on the rack near the front door. He remarked how he’d been waiting for it to be retrieved and was hoping maybe the owner would forget. We had a good laugh and I told him how much I appreciated the compliment. The coat is so warm, comfortable and stylish that I’m looking forward to many more thoughtful remarks all winter.

I ordered this beautiful blanket for my husband for Xmas. He is always cold in the winter and throws just aren’t big enough. This is the perfect size and weight to keep him warm while watching tv in the evening or even taking the dog out for a potty break. The design and colors are perfect and the quality is wonderful and shipping was quick. The fact that this purchase is supporting those in need and supporting a beautiful art form makes me feel even better about Pancho’s Blankets.

My son and daughter-in-law gave me the OSO jacket at Christmastime. I absolutely love it and for the first time find myself wishing the cold weather would hang around a little longer. The quality is unmatched. Upon learning how my coat was made, I decided to visit the Pancho’s Blanket website to learn more. It’s remarkable that this beautiful coat was created with equipment that has been used for a century or more. It’s proof that quality never goes out of style. Not only is my OSO jacket warm (duh), but it’s beautifully artistic, comfortable, soft and breathable. When I learned that the company not only creates beautiful outerwear but also supports a charity (Feed A Family) which feeds the poor in Mexico, I was compelled to order a jacket for my husband. There is one minor drawback to my OSO jacket. When I wear it with a bulky sweater, it tends to bunch up in the sleeves and becomes uncomfortable in the underarms. That’s a minor issue though and I will save my bulky sweaters for other occasions.
By this time it looks like we collect Oso blankets, we love them. We get stopped at least twice a week by people who just want to know where we got them. So luxurious and handmade- best of both worlds
This is my favorite blanket in the house. It is so stylish. Everyone compliments it. I have one on my bed, one over the couch, I cuddled it it while watching a show last night. It’s amazing and beautiful. So unique!

First thing that came to my mind when I got my Paco Blanket was “it looks like a super high quality sweater”. I was impressed and after using it almost every day for the past few months I got to prove that, in deed it is a high quality sweater! Probably best thing I own right now.
I wear a size 42R. This handmade jacket is very stylish and fits great! I like that this jacket is reversible, which allows you to wear it with a greater variety of clothing. I have not had a chance to test this jacket in the winter, but this jacket has been a champ in the fall weather where it starts to dip into the 30’s. Because it’s 100% wool, it is breathable and does not build up moisture. The wools feels durable and high quality. I also believe in what this company is doing for it’s community by giving to the less fortunate. The stylish look, durability, warmth, and heart behind it, make this a solid jacket to add to your collection.

This jacket is incredible quality. I’ve worked as a craftsman my whole life in high end work as a blacksmith and carpenter. This coat has incredible attention to detail, from the wooden buttons, quality leather patch, and the subtle Meso-American patterns woven into it. I love the fact that it’s reversible. It’s incredibly warm, and still gives me full range of motion to swing a sledgehammer at my forge or swing a splitting maul to split firewood out in the timber. I would highly recommend
